Real furniture or virtual styling?
Empty rooms are hard to read in a photo. How to choose between furniture styling and virtual styling for your sale.
Why empty rooms are hard to sell
Buyers find it hard to judge the size of an empty room or picture their own furniture in it. Styling shows how each room can be used and how big it really is.
Furniture styling
We bring the furniture, art and soft furnishings, set the home up for the photos and the opens, and take it all away after the sale. It suits a home that will have opens, where buyers see the rooms in person.
Virtual styling
We add realistic furniture to photos of your empty rooms. The room itself is never changed: the layout, fixtures and condition stay exactly as they are. It is $50 an image, back within 24 hours, and suits apartments, rentals and campaigns where real furniture is not practical.
The difference at the open
Virtual furniture is only in the photos. At the open, buyers walk into the empty room. If the home will have regular opens, real furniture keeps the photos and the visit the same.
Using both
You can combine them: real furniture in the rooms that matter most, and virtual styling for a spare room in the listing photos.
Questions to ask first
Will the home have opens? Is it empty, partly furnished or lived in? Is there a lift, stairs or tight parking for a delivery? When is the photographer booked?
